Reggae artiste and Radio Host, Blakk Rasta has apologized to Members of Parliament for alleging that about 80 percent of them use marijuana, during a phone interview on Hitz FM's entertainment news.
The host of 'Taxi Driver', a programme on Hitz FM, appeared before the Privileges Committee of Parliament on Thursday, June 25, with his lawyer, some members of the Multimedia Group and the Production Manager of Hitz FM, Mark Okraku-Mantey.
The 'Barack Obama' hit-maker described his utterances as unfortunate and said he had no intention of subjecting MPs to public ridicule.
However, some Members of Parliament still think Blakk Rasta deserves a severe punishment despite his apology, which they described as fake.
