CHOLERA INFECTS 3000 BURUNDI REFUGEES

About 3000 people in Tanzania have been reportedly infected with cholera. Most of these people are said to be Burundians who have fled their country due to its state of unrest.

According to the UN refugee agency, up to 400 new cases are being reported each day.

Over 100,000 have left Burundi recently, as a result of violence sparked by President Pierre Nkurunziza's decision to run for a third term.
