Hip-life artiste Kwaw Kese also known as Emmanuel Botchwey has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after suffering a severe stomach ache.
The incident happened in prison, where he is being remanded for two more weeks after he was denied bail for the second time.
Kwaw Kese was arrested on November 22 for allegedly smoking marijuana in public.
