UNFORGOTTEN: Terry Bonchaka

Terry Bonchaka (born Terry Adjetey) was Ghanaian hiplife musician and the grandson of former Parliament speaker Peter Ala Adjetey.

Terry was a graduate of Adisadel College in the Central Region of Ghana.

His classy old school style, thick afro and exceptional voice, made him outstanding in the Ghanaian entertainment industry. Both colleague musicians and fans were caught up in his "Pulele" dance; a dance move where one leg is held up high, in a straight horizontal position.

He his also credited for bringing King Ayisoba into the limelight.

Terry's big break came when he entered the Miss Ghana hiplife amateur competition and won in the regionals before taking home the title of Hiplife champ 2001 in the final round.

His first place win in the Miss Ghana music competition, along with his featured place in Joy FM Night with the Stars concert shot him to the top of the hiplife scene.
