Ghana has been ranked the second most corrupt country in the latest corruption perception index by Transparency International.
In the report, 76 percent of Ghanaians said corruption had increased over the last twelve months.
South Africa topped the list with 86 percent whilst Nigeria placed third with 75 percent. Burkina Faso, Mali and Cote d'Ivoire were said to be the least corrupt countries.
However, most Africans said corruption has increased over the past twelve months, with 20 percent of people claiming they paid bribe withing this period.
Majority of Ghanaians expressing their views seem not to be surprised by the outcome, with many pointing fingers at the police, Presidential staffers, journalist and the judiciary.
