A 24-year old man was found hanging in an uncompleted building at Effiakuma Number Nine, a suburb of Sekondi-Takoradi on Christmas day.
The deceased identified as Seidu Baba, who sells pipe borne water was found hanging early Thursday morning at about 4a.m. by his sister.
His body has been deposited at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue.
Many residents in the area are in a state of shock since the deceased looked cheerful the previous day without giving any hint of committing suicide.
The Takoradi District Police Commander, Superintendent Peter Ofori Donkor confirmed the incident to the media and said the police were investigating to establish whether it was suicide or murder.
