Ghanaian female student stabbed to death

A first year female student of Ho Polytechnic in the Volta Region, was murdered at her hostel on Monday morning by an unknown assaulter.

Naomi Kpodzro, who was stabbed to death, was seen lying in pool of blood at the courtyard of Divine Star hostel.

Reports say some students overhead a voice screaming for help and later met the deceased lying unconscious with her hands tied and chest injured.

She was pronounced dead after she'd been rushed to the Volta Regional Hospital.

The incident which is being investigated by the police, follows a similar one that occurred at the University of Professional Studies(UPS) where a female student was stabbed to death by her boyfriend.
