Stonebwoy, Sarkodie & Wiyaala Reject Ambassadorial Deals

Multiple award winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has reportedly turned down an $80, 000 ambassadorial deal from Nigerian telecommunication company Glo, on Tuesday July 14. Reports indicate that songstress Wiyaala also turned down a similar deal offered by Glo in May which was worth $15,000.

According to sources, Glo's conditions prohobits these artistes from performing at events organized by other telecom companies such as MTN, Vodafone,Airtel and Tigo. Furthermore, an unconfirmed declaration stipulates that Sarkodie rejected a $250,000 deal from one of Ghana's telecom giants Tigo.

Nevertheless, Glo still has a list of celebrities as brand ambassadors, including Kaaki, Yvonne Nelson and Van Vicker. However, some artiste like Tinny, who was once a brand ambassador has described Glo's conditions as unfavourable and almost ravaged his career.
