Tiger Nuts popularly known to indigenous Ghanaians as 'atadwe' is a delicacy for most people in terms of nuts. It has so many myths surrounding its health benefits including its ability to boost sperm count.

1. It has high fibre content: Tiger Nuts are about 90% fibre. This high content in fibre prevents constipation, controls body weight and suppresses appetite.

2. Helps regulate blood pressure: It contains arginine acid which helps the body to make nitric oxide to keep blood vessels dilated for normal blood flow.
