COCAINE SAGA: Alhaji Dawood denied reports of his arrest at Kotoka

Alhaji Dawood Mohammed has denied reports by the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) that he was arrested at the Kotoka International Airport.

The man, accused of aiding Nayele Ametefeh and her two friends to use the VIP lounge at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, made his first appearance in court today.

He told the court that he presented himself to BNI accompanied by his lawyer. It has been reported that he wept in court.

The case has been adjourned to December 8. He was denied bail.

Twelve people have been arrested so far in connection with Nayele's alleged  smuggling of 12.5kg of cocaine from Ghana to U.K.
