4 murder suspects have escaped from their cell at the Suame Police station, Kumasi, last Friday.
The policemen who had the suspected criminals in their custody have been given a 10-day ultimatum to produce the suspects.
It is believed that, they[the suspects] had committed murder at Adankwame, near Barekese in the Ashanti Region. They were arrested but escaped a few days later.
The four suspects were to be put before court yesterday, November 28.
Deputy Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ASP) Ampofo Duku, said disciplinary action would be taken against the policemen if they are unable to produce the suspects by Monday, December 1.
